How to recover deleted notifications from iPhone

Due to the speed of unlocking in the new Apple devices, whether they are equipped with Touch ID or Face ID, and especially the automation that we use as soon as we take the phone in our hands, many times we unlock the phone even before we can read our notifications. You hold your iPhone and without even thinking you place your finger on Touch ID or simply have your face recognized through Face ID and lo and behold, you are on the home screen and reluctantly discover that all your notifications have disappeared. Don't worry, now I explain how to recover deleted notifications!

Luckily for you, notifications are never permanently deleted, but are always available regardless of whether you are on iOS 10, iOS 11, or iOS 12.

Recover deleted notifications on iPhones equipped with Touch ID (iPhone 8 and earlier):

  • Press CLOSE BUTTON and lock the phone;
  • Press Home with a finger that is not registered with Touch ID;
  • Swipe up from the center of the screen;
  • You will find the Notification history in section Notification Center;
  • As an alternative to this method, from any screen you can swipe down from the top of the screen.

Recover deleted notifications on iPhone equipped with Face ID (iPhone X, XS, XS Max, XR, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max):

  • Press CLOSE BUTTON and lock the phone;
  • Press with one finger on the screen to activate it;
  • Slide your finger starting from the center of the screen upwards;
  • You will find the Notification history in section Notification Center;
  • As an alternative to this method, from any screen you can swipe down from the top left of the screen.
