The password should be as complex as possible to avoid hacking, it is desirable that it consists of alphabetic and numeric characters, but be sure to remember it, otherwise you will not be able to enter your account. In the next window, enter your first and last name. Here, if you want, you can use a pseudonym instead of your real name. Click on the «Next» button.

Afterwards, at the phone number specified above you will receive a message with the activation code (that is why it is very important to specify the real phone number). You must enter this activation code in the field of the program's open window. After this, click on the "Next" button, which is actually the end of the record.

If you want to register with the help of email, then in the window where it is suggested to enter the phone number, go to the entry "Use existing email address".

In the next window, enter your real email, and the password you are going to use. Click on the «Next» button.

As in the previous occasion, in the next window, enter your last name and first name. To continue with the registration, click on the "Next" button.

In the last registration window you have to enter the code that has reached the specified mailbox and press the «Next» button. Registration is complete.

Some users prefer to register through the web browser interface. To start this procedure, after going to the home page of the Skype website, in the upper right corner of your browser you must click on "Sign in", and then go to "Register".

On rare occasions, there is the problem that when you register through the program, you cannot enter your email address because the field intended for this purpose is not active. In this case, you must uninstall Skype. Then delete everything in the "AppDataSkype" folder. One way to get to this directory, if you don't want to use Windows Explorer to navigate your hard drive, is to invoke the "Run" dialog. To do this, just type Win + R on the keyboard. Then enter "AppData_Skype" in the field and click "OK".

After deleting the AppDataSkype folder, you have to reinstall the Skype software. Afterwards, if you have done everything correctly, you should be able to enter your email in the corresponding field.

In general, it should be noted that problems when registering with Skype are now much less common than before. This trend can be explained by the fact that signing up for Skype is now much easier.
